Randalle Hunt Moore, ASLA

Co-owner of MPG, and a licensed landscape architect, Randalle Hunt Moore manages office operations and human resources for the firm. As project manager, she oversees a range of projects, including commercial, recreational, federal facilities, highway R.O.W. master planning, and vegetation management studies.

With project experience in environmental planning, floodplain management, waterfront revitalization, forest land management, and visual resource management, Mrs. Moore maintains a broad perspective on the environmental field. While implementing energy conservation and waste reduction programs for the cities of New Iberia and Alexandria, as well as for fourteen parishes in Louisiana, she built partnerships between government and private enterprises.

Mrs. Moore continues to conduct environmental education workshops for elementary, secondary, and higher educational institutions and foundations. She enjoys designing and implementing outdoor classrooms and schoolyard ecosystems, and working with wildflower and native plant utilization design.

In 2006, Mrs. Moore and MPG took part in the planning efforts for the Hurricane Katrina/Rita Transitional Housing Initiatives. She also helped lead the Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo design charette for a New Orleans community rebuilding plan, and is knowledgeable about affordable housing funding and development.  As President of Alexandria’s Inner-City Revitalization Corporation, Mrs. Moore took a leadership role in a recent $1.5 million renovation and transformation of a historic warehouse into supported housing apartments for formerly homeless citizens (SRO).

Mrs. Moore has numerous works published in professional journals and magazines. She is married to Patrick Moore. They have one son and one daughter.
