Nathan S. Gaspard currently serves as Director of Planning for Moore Planning Group, LLC. Mr. Gaspard has a long history of experience on a variety of design and planning projects, including state and national award-winning efforts such as: City of Pineville Urban Master Plan, City of Crowley -- Parkerson Avenue Streetscape Master Plan, Louisiana State University - Alexandria Campus Master Plan, City of New Iberia Land Use and Enhancement Master Plan, Iberville Parish Master Plan, and Avoyelles Parish Community Master Plan. Many of these Master Plans recommend zoning and ordinance review and additions, and economic development through improved quality of life initiatives.
Mr. Gaspard has twenty-nine years of experience facilitating and coordinating research and tasking of multiple federal, state and local agencies and groups. He continues to work with government and public officials, including mayors, City Councils, Department of Transportation, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Economic Development, regional planning authorities, neighborhood groups, and community organizations.
Recently, Mr. Gaspard served as a leader in managing the planning efforts for the Hurricane Transitional Housing Initiative, which included development of prototypes for community development of short-term housing opportunities. Further, he helped develop a “New World New Orleans” planning prospective for various foundations and planning organizations, regarding economic and investment opportunities for the future growth of New Orleans.
